Portable toilets for San Jose projects and events
San Jose covers a lot of ground, from the high-rises around downtown and SoFA to the hillside neighborhoods in Almaden Valley and Evergreen. Each area brings its own rental needs. Downtown towers and North San Jose campuses run long projects with large crews. Willow Glen and the Rose Garden see steady remodel work on older homes. Every neighborhood hosts family gatherings, from first birthdays to quinceañeras.
With a city this size, delivery planning matters. Give us the address or nearest cross streets, plus any gate, slope, or parking details, and we'll plan the drop. Most residential sites use the driveway or side yard. Commercial sites follow the contractor's logistics plan.
San Jose also has detailed rules for event restrooms. For events on city streets, at plazas, or in city parks, the city's event process asks organizers to show portable toilet locations on the site plan, and the toilet count is finalized with city staff. If you're organizing a permitted event, we can help you plan the number and placement of units.

San Jose questions
Do I need a permit for porta potties at my San Jose event?
For a private party on your own property, generally no. For events on city streets, plazas, or private property open to the public, the Office of Cultural Affairs process applies. For city parks, it's PRNS Special Park Use. Those processes ask you to show toilet locations on your site plan.
How soon after my event will you pick up the units?
San Jose's event guidance says equipment, including toilets, must be removed within 24 hours or by 7 a.m. the next business day. We'll schedule pickup to match your permit.
Do I need handwashing stations for a park picnic with food?
Santa Clara County Environmental Health says portable restrooms and handwash units may be required at park events over an hour with food or drinks. Check your permit. Either way, a station near the food is a good idea.
